Apple Releases

Apple’s first media event of 2016 will go down on March 21, not too long after Samsung.  On this date, Apple will show off a lot of new products.  One new product that Apple is rumored to release is a brand new iPad.  This iPad will be a bit smaller than the iPad Pro. There is not a lot of rumors and leaks about this iPad, but for the people that do not like the iPad Pro because its too big, this might be a great alternative.  Another product that Apple is releasing is the iPhone SE.  The SE in this phone stands for Special Edition.  The iPhone SE will be a mix of the iPhone 5 and 6.  it will include a 4 inch display and a faster chip than the iPhone 5s, and will have  12 mega Pixel camera, which is the same as the one as the iPhone 6s. It will have a curved screen like the iPhone 6 rather than the iPhone 5 and 5s.  It will also have a larger batter.  It is rumored to have Live Photos but not 3D touch, which will remain on the iPhone 6s.  This is a good phone for the people that like a smaller device with a fast chip to get work done!

Samsung Galaxy S7

So, lets take a break from Apple and their news for a while and lets have a look at the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.  Samsung has recently sent out some test phones to people to test out their new phones for any bugs or anything.  The Samsung Galaxy S7 is Samsung's newest release.  The S7 comes with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software with a 5.1 inch screen.  Some features of this amazing phone is that you can add a MicroSD card to get more storage on the phone, up to 200 gigabytes, which can be useful for taking lots of pictures.  The phone is also water-resistant, so it can be put in a certain depth of water for a certain time without anything happening to it.  It has a 3000 mAh battery, which is much better than the 2550 mAh battery on the previous Galaxy S6.  The Galaxy S7 comes in the following colors; black onyx and gold platinum.  Now, this is not a great variety, but the colors look really cool! Now the camera has also been changed.  The Galaxy S6 had a 16 mega pixel camera, but, Samsung decided to downgrade to a 12 mega pixel camera.  The reason behind this is that the camera is a bit wider, which will allow in more light to give a better quality picture.  Another good feature out of this downgrade is that the camera auto focuses, which mean that if you move in closer to something that it will focus on it almost instantly.  Overall the Samsung Galaxy S7 is a really great phone, but will it be able to compete with the iPhone 7?

Apple vs FBI case

So, recently the FBI has filed a court order to have Apple unlock a phone used by the terrorists of the San Bernardino Shooting in California.  The FBI wanted Apple to create essentially a backdoor to the iPhone.  What this means is that the FBI wanted Apple to create a new version of their operating system to inject onto the iPhone of the terrorist to get data from it to help them out.  This seems very reasonable, but Apple has said no to the FBI, and many companies are supporting Apple.  Apple claims that creating this operating system will remove all major security features used in their iOS's.  If this software is created, it will allow the FBI to essentially " brute force " (which means to force break in) into this iPhone by digitally entering thousands or millions of pas-codes at very high speeds, with no blockage if the pas-code is incorrect. If this type of operating system was made, Apple users information would be at a very high risk, and at this day and age, security is very important in keeping your information safe.  If Apple were to make this system, the FBI could use it to unlock many iPhones in many different cases that they have.  The problem with this is that many people are going to try to be getting this software by hacking into the FBI systems.  This could be very dangerous because once this software, which has not and will not be created, gets into the wrong hands, hackers will be able to steal Apple users information very easily and get into peoples phones.

Good news for Apple users, Apple has strongly said no to the FBI and the judge and has made it clear that security is one of the most important things of iPhones and a major part of technology now a days.  This case shows to Apple users that Apple has such strong security,  and this is shown by the fact that even the FBI, which has very high tech systems cannot even get into this iPhone.  If the FBI cannot get into this iPhone, it will be very difficult for other hackers to get into it.  I am personally standing by Apple and their argument, but what do you guys think of this case?

More iPhone 7 rumors.

The iPhone 7 has more and more tumors coming out by the day. Some true and some not. Today I will tell you some confirmed rumors.   One thing that's being changed is that there will be no more antenna bands. If you've noticed the bands or lines on the back of your iPhone, those are antenna lines to give your phone the signal. Apple is getting rid of those lines to give the iPhone 7 a much cleaner look.   It is rumored to have an iPhone 7 Plus as well with a larger display and specs. The iPhone 7 will also be shipped with the same headphones. But, with the removal of the headphone jack, the iPhone will have to be plugged into the charger port, which means you can't use the headphones while charging your phone. This could get s little annoying but will provide some better audio quality. With the removal of the headphone jack, that leaves an open hole internally that Apple will immediately go to improve the audio with. The iPhone 7 is rumored to have surround sound speakers like the iPad Pro which has amazing quality sound.  If you want to buy wireless earphones, Apple will be producing them but they will not be shipped with the iPhone 7.  Apple is also working on a new technology to make the iPhone 7 water proof or at least water resistant. This will be a major technology that many other companies are working on to implement on their next phones, such as Samsung with their S7. Along with all these features, Apple is working on wireless charging. There are many bugs in this such as the further from the charging source you are, the lower the charging signal will be. This feature may not be implemented in the 7 but rather the 7s, so don't keep your hopes up!
